POST: ICT Technician

GRADE: Grade 7

PRO RATA SALARY: £10,365 - £11,351 (£11.36 to £12.44 per hour)

HOURS: 17.5 per week

LOCATION: Barrhead Council Offices

We’re looking for an experienced ICT Technician to join us. As a key member of a busy, customer-facing team, you’ll help to ensure an efficient response to ICT problems and queries. You’ll need to be a highly skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and be experienced in dealing with a wide range of people. You’ll have strong organisational skills along with the ability to work calmly under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

You should have previous experience of working in an ICT support role along with a working knowledge of Windows operating systems.

Experience of Altiris Management Suite and scripting languages would be a distinct advantage.

This post will involve travel through the Council Area.
