Social Care Assistant, Part Time 18 hours, Limecroft Care Home, Livingston Service Area: Social Policy Salary: £14,716 - £16,574+ 14% shift allowance (Salary pro rata)
Ref: 317.36 Closing Date: 4th March 2012 The closing date for this post is provisionally set at 4 March 2012. This may change and close early depending on applicant response levels. You will work as part of a team offering a high level of support to older people within a care home setting. Previous experience and SVQ II in Health and Social Care or equivalent is essential. Induction and training will be provided and you will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to your own professional development.

A rotational shift system is in operation, which includes weekend working.

This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
