An opportunity has arisen within the Human Resources Department for a Learning & Development Associate reporting to the Reward & Learning and Development Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for Vascutek’s training provision.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Maintain accurate and up to date training records for all associates within the company HR/Payroll system and master control system.
- Maintain training system within master control.
- Work closely with the QC department ensuring up to date training is captured in master control.
- Carrying out training needs analysis.
- Advising supervisors/managers on training courses for associates.
- Maintain and update induction training including delivery to all new associates.
- Deliver basic transferable skills training.
- Sourcing new training providers with HR to add to the training catalogue.
- Book and arrange external training including setting up rooms etc.
- Arrange all video training/company presentations as and when required.
- Collaborate with existing trainers to deliver training needs.
It is essential the successful candidate can demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Preferably degree qualified in a relevant business discipline.
- Above average knowledge of word and excel would be desirable.
- Previous experience in delivering training is essential.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with lean six sigma and 5s would be advantageous.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Preferably experience in design, delivering and evaluating training.
The successful candidate will preferably have experience working within a manufacturing background and have excellent communication skills.
