NPD Manager Fife   c£40,000 plus car/allowance, benefits and relocation

Company is a well established producer supplying on a 24/7 basis to the major supermarket chains (and elsewhere) throughout the UK. To maintain its level of customer satisfaction, it requires a Development Manager.

Reporting to the department Head, you will be rsponsible for managing and directing a development team covering all aspects of product development. This will include creating concepts, developing new as well as existing products, developing associated packing, product trialling, and all relevant documentation and traceability. The role will involve extensive liaison with internal (sales, production, quality etc) and external (customers) people, and will take you offsite as required.

It is likely you will have a food technology or similar background, ideally to degree level; what you will have is a successful approach to identifying, developing and delivering new food products to an extremely demanding customer base. The position is initially offered on a 9 month maternity cover from May 2012; however due to business levels it is extremely likely that it will become permanent.
