83560 - Electrical Supervisor

Our client is a specialist engineering company involved in the supply & repair of electric motors, pumps & gearboxes but more specifically the rewinding of electric motors.

They are currently recruiting for the position of Electrical Supervisor, based in Inverness.

Job Description

  • Assist in the day to day operations as directed by the Electrical manager, to include daily allocation of engineers to jobs (including out of hours calls)
  • Provide engineering onsite Technical support and client enquiries
  • Assist in sourcing, procurement and issue of materials for jobs
  • Preparation of 'remedial works reports' for submission to clients
  • Site visits to assess works - Prospective works, Progression of works, Site surveys
  • Hands on with certain contracts ie.- Chargeable hours and in a supervisory role
  • Health and safety matters - Risk assessments, Method statements, Responsible for maintaining on site Health & Safety policies
  • Assist in the development of the business as required, including to advise on any additional or proposed developments and business opportunities
  • Ensure that all job details are properly recorded to allow admin staff to invoice timeously

    • Skills & Experience

  • Fully qualified Electrical engineer
  • 17th edition IEE wiring regulations (being procured)
  • Inspection and testing
  • Good computer skills - Microsoft products
  • Experience in preparing health & safety documents
  • Good communicating skills
  • Experience in sourcing & procurement of electrical materials
  • Experience with instrumentation and control panels

    • This is a permanent position.

    The salary for this position is negotiable.
