Manufacturing Engineer Fife

My client designs and manufactures innovative products with industrial applications worldwide.

Due to increasing workloads they are currently recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer to provide effective support to operations.

To be considered for this role you will have experience in project managing Capital Expenditure Projects for the purchase, installation, and commissioning of production machinery. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assistance and guidance of engineering technicians and craftsmen in fault-finding and troubleshooting activities on a broad range of production machinery and processes.

As a key player in driving manufacturing performance, you will be involved in the development of sustainable planned maintenance procedures and delivering improvements in manufacturing performance and standards.

Any candidates considering this position must have experience in the following:
· Trained in a mechanical engineering discipline.
· Production process problem solving and optimisation.
· Providing technical support to production and manufacturing.
· Investigating & resolving issues effecting production or product builds.
· Develop and provide a meaningful contribution to the plants ongoing continuous improvement program.
· Presentation of project proposals and update to both external and internal customers.
· Creation and control of cross functional teams across the business.
· Planning and control of new plant, equipment and tooling for new business and business optimisation projects.
· Product Costing.
· Customer complaints and corrective action requirements.
· Supporting company policy in terms of Health and Safety, Quality systems / procedures and environmental management systems.
· An up to date knowledge of industry standards and practices.
