Quantity Surveyor - Water / Waste Water Projects Glasgow   Up to £45 000 plus car / car allowance, pension and healthcare

Deanston Cooper's client, one of the UK's leading civil engineering contractors in the water and waste water sector, has a current requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to work on projects across the Central Belt.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, duties include:

• Preparing Bills of Quantities, Budgets and Take-Offs
• Assisting with the preparation, submission and agreement of interim payment applications to maximise the company’s cashflow
• Ensuring contractual requirements are complied with
• Commercial management of sub contractors
• Assisting with the production and agreement of final accounts and additional cost claims.
• Assisting with placing sub-contract orders and agreement of sub-contract final accounts.
• Ensuring that financial reporting is timely and accurate.

Applications are welcome from candidates with a minimum qualification of HND Quantity Surveying who have gained good project experience working for a civil engineering or M+E contractor.  You will be fully versed in NEC Conditions of Contract and previous water / waste water experience would be preferred but not essential.
