Recycling Centre Attendant Dundee   £6,346 - £7,041

Six part-time additional temporary staff are required to cover the extended (summer) operating hours at the City's 3 civic amenity sites.

The hours of duty are 17:00 to 20:15 Monday to Friday; however additional hours over the 7-day period may be required. The main duties of these posts include providing a high level of assistance to the general public & other site users, maintaining the site in a safe, clean & tidy condition and ensuring that recyclable materials are correctly deposited and stored in the appropriate containers.

You will be required to demonstrate a high level of customer care & service provision. You must posses 3 standard grades (including English) at grade 3 or above, have experience of customer service provision, manual handling, traffic control and be experienced in maintaining a high standard of site tidiness. You must also be polite, presentable, a good time-keeper and be willing to assist at all times. A good understanding of recycling and environmental issues would be advantageous.

This post is temporary for 6 months from 2nd April - 28th September 2012.
