Ensure Regulatory and client standard compliance.
Support in production of Monthly Performance Management Report
Input to the production and ongoing management of Inspection Plans, Planning and compliance for corrosion monitoring activities.
Recommend actions following from inspection anomalies and failures.
Provide support to Verification activities related to applicable Performance Standards.
Ensure the effective application of innovative corrosion engineering applications and specialist technologies.
Provide authoritative technical assessment and interpretation of corrosion monitoring data.
Provide corrosion expertise to and effectively interact with multi disciplinary RBA or other process groups.
Recommend changes in corrosion criticality analyses and monitoring/inspection programmes where appropriate.
Undertake or co-ordinate failure investigations into material and corrosion issues in accordance with prescribed or approved failure investigation procedures.
Participate in and provide input to the regular review of corrosion management information such as Corrosion and Chemical Control Matrices and KPI's.
Prepare, manage and chair the regular corrosion and integrity tactical review team meetings and coordinate actions arising.
Provide technical leadership and authority in designated corrosion engineering disciplines.
Technical
Determine companywide "best practice" for the discipline.
Act as custodian for all discipline procedures, and ensure they are reviewed and updated on a regular basis to reflect company and industry best practice.
Provide corrosion technical consultancy direct to clients when necessary whilst ensuring appropriate commercial arrangements are in place.
Perform Corrosion Engineering analysis and assessments
Perform audits on subcontractors to ensure validity of methods and reporting used.
Identify suitable training in accordance with personnel competency assessments.
Mentor all personnel involved in compilation of discipline deliverables.
Provide discipline input into tenders, proposals and CTRs.
Attend client business development meetings and make presentations as necessary.
Develop and maintain standard literature and presentation material for Company's abilities in the discipline.
Innovations
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING:
Masters Degree in corrosion engineering discipline or equivalent.
Experience in corrosion engineering arena
Experience in inspection/ integrity arena
Supervisory experience
Knowledge of oil and gas component failure mechanisms and repair options
Management training
