A vacancy has arisen within their Quality Department for a Quality Engineer.

The role will be responsible for developing, implementing, managing and reporting both strategic change and tactical improvements in quality processes. This position will liaise with Engineering, reliability, manufacturing and operations to deliver class leading processes and procedures focusing on improving in house quality and delivered product quality.

The role will require strong analysis, process development, root cause corrective action, statistical process control, process capability and excellent level of communication skills.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and developing process capability aligned to product critically;
  • Leading cross functional reviews on quality;
  • Developing quality process documentation and training;
  • Developing and installing statistical process controls;
  • Developing a proactive approach to quality;
  • Improving quality processes and controls.

    • The candidate will have:

  • Degree Qualification in Engineering or Quality;
  • Experience within a heavy engineering manufacturing environment;
  • Previous experience in a similar quality role;
  • Well practised bag of quality tools including SPC, RCA etc;
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
