Job Description
Can you make a difference to the future lives of Glasgow's children? Glasgow City Council is seeking to recruit temporary supply teachers to cover various positions throughout the city. As a supply teacher you will be required to move from school to school to cover various posts to meet the needs of the service. You must be committed, passionate and a well qualified staff member. We will support you to inspire the learning of our children and young people. In addition to the range of teaching and other duties outlined in the job specification we are looking for individuals who enjoy working collegiately with colleagues, and who have with a firm commitment to improving the outcomes for Glasgow's young people. The current demand for work is in the denominatial sector which will require RC Church Approval. On receipt of your application you will be contacted in due course by a member of the CBS Recruitment Team. You will require to confirm your availability and arrange an appointment to complete the PVG form and all other necessary recruitment paperwork. When recruited to the Supply Register you will be offered work by the CBS Supply Team, 0141 276 9914 (option 3, 1). RC approval is required if wishing to work in the RC Sector. Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment along with GTCS Registration.
Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.

Salary: £21438.00 - £34200.00
