Salary: £22,977 - £25,832 The Leaving care Team provide advice and guidance to young people who are, or have been, looked after away from home by Falkirk Council.
You will work as part of the team to provide this support to young people as they make the transition from care to more independent living. You will develop and maintain key worker relationships with individual young people and work in partnership with fieldwork staff and colleagues from other agencies to contribute to and assist in the implementation of agreed Pathway Plans.
An HNC in Social Care or SVQ3, together with demonstrable evidence of working with young people who have experienced trauma and/or who have been looked after away from home is essential. Successful applicants for posts working with children or vulnerable adults will be subject to disclosure checks or the new PVG scheme.
