Nature of Post:
Reporting to the Customer Communications Manager you will manage the media activities for the business. You will be expected to play an active part in both campaign planning and day-to-day tactical delivery of these campaigns, as well as provide expert advice on media handling, responding to media enquiries and building effective relationships with the media.
An excellent writer and editor you will work closely with the corporate and customer communication teams to ensure the best quality of our written communications and scripts. This role includes responsibility for generating articles on the work of RoS for external publications.
You will be responsible for the Corporate Communications Handbook.
There is a lot of overlap between the roles in the Communication Team and success in this post will be dependant on working effectively together.
This is a new post within RoS and will develop once the post holder is appointed.
