IT Auditor

We have an opportunity to work in the Groups Group's Internal Control and Regulatory team which is within the IT Audit team.

The initial focus of this role will be upon evaluating the Group's adherence to policies and procedures over, for example, supplier security standards, Data Protection, PCI and the HMRC's Senior Accounting Officer rules. We would expect successful applicants to work across our mainstream audits also and to progress to focusing on more strategic assessments.

You will be planning, performing and reporting on various IT and supplier reviews, identifying issues and recommending solutions but always with a focus on risk. This role provides an opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to play a significant part in improving Sky's management and technical control environments.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing, on a day to day basis, the planning, performance and report delivery of allocated assignments. This includes ensuring delivery of the end to end audit process to an acceptable professional standard.

Building and maintaining a close working relationship with the management teams across all relevant areas.

Assisting in the development of the test programme to identify value arising from the process and the delivery of constructive recommendations.

Assessing and testing the design and operating effectiveness of both business and IT controls.

Reporting to senior management on key issues on a timely basis in a clear and concise fashion.

A CISA certification, or equivalent, is desirable but knowledge across a range of technologies is more important. You will have worked in IT audit, IT security and/or have had IT operations experience that you can demonstrate will be relevant to this role and you will be familiar with control frameworks.
