Pre Five Senior Nursery Officer (Term Time) Johnstone   £20,657 - £23,939

You will assist in the delivery of a high quality education and care service to pre 5 children and their families and to work as part of the management team to assist in the effective management of the pre-five centre. The main duties of the post will include planning and implementation of an appropriate curriculum for children aged 3-5 years; assessment recording and reporting on children’s progress; supporting staff in curriculum planning, assessment and observation practices; monitoring the development and implementation of IEP’s; developing parental participation; promoting work with other agencies and contributing to the management of the service. You must have an HNC in Childcare and Education/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification as defined by the Scottish Social Services Council; experience in curriculum planning and delivering a curriculum; report & asessment writing; sound knowledge of relevant national early years curriculum, childcare development and council policies and procedures. In addition you must have the ability to demonstrate commitment to paternal involvement; support & guide staff; work as part of a team and be flexible to meet needs of the service . It is essential that you are registered with the Scottish Social Services Council.
