Commercial Manager Stirling (Town)   £38,235

Our client is the University’s Student Union who are currently searching for a Commercial Manager to build the business and deliver an excellent service and high standards in all Union Commercial (Catering / Bar / Events) operations.

To be considered you must have previous experience along with a proven track record of development in this area. 

The responsibilities will include the management of the Commercial staff team including recruitment, selection, development, training, performance management and succession planning.  To develop the business profile by enhancing the product range in line with the student profile.  To achieve KPI’s by working with the Chief Executive to deliver clear targets and direction for the Bar & Catering and ensure the Union meets these targets.  Keeping abreast of external trends and developments in the Commercial Industry including Menu’s, trends within the student market and management issues.

Oversee the Commercial areas legal and statutory duties ensuring compliance at all times with current legislation including licensing, food safety, security as well as Health & Safety and Fire Safety.

The salary of £38,235 per annum pro rata, 34 weeks per year, which equates to £25,000.

Strong internal and external relationship management abilities aligned to a passion for first class service are essential for this position.
