Salary: £20,372 - £22,591 Pro-rata You willl work 14.25 hours per week in care homes which specialise in providing care to frail older people, people with dementia and people with a functional mental illness.

You will be able to register with the SSSC as a Practitioner in care home services for adults and qualify within the regulatory timescale of three years. A Social Care (SVQ Level III) qualification together with Moving and Handling training would be desirable. This post is temporary until November 2012. Successful applicants for posts working with children or vulnerable adults will be subject to disclosure checks or the new PVG scheme.
