Seasonal Job opportunities at Loch Lomond Golf Club – June to End of December with possibility of extensions into 2013

Shifts will be from 9.30am to 6.00pm

Reporting directly to the Head Chef, the Prep Chefs role is an integral part within our busy kitchen. If you're prepared to go the extra mile in your pursuit of quality, this role will be just to your taste. Preparing ingredients that will be used in a wide range of interesting dishes will give you the perfect opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy environment.  An enthusiastic team of junior chefs will benefit from your ability to pass on well prepared ingredients for them to use in their culinary creations.

You will be passionate about providing fantastic food at all times and possess a real attention to detail. You must have relevant experience in a Prep Chef role gained within a hotel or restaurant environment where the emphasis was on preparing good fresh produce which has been sourced locally. You will be ambitious, a good team player with a positive attitude, good working practices, smart, reliable, good timekeeping and flexible with hours of work.

The ideal candidate will have a full knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety in a kitchen environment and hold a basic food hygiene certificate.  Candidates should also be able to get here without the use of public transport.
