84055 - Test & ATE Engineer

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Test & ATE Engineer, based in Inverness.

Job Description

  • Reporting to the R&D Director, the Test & ATE Engineer will be responsible to work within the research and development department on developing new technologies, new products and processes for blood glucose measurement, insulin delivery and diabetes disease management and their transfer into operations
  • This will include developing HW.FW design and protocols for automated test equipment to test and calibrate company devices

    • Skills & Experience

  • An experienced software/firmware engineer cable of reviewing and critiquing Design Partners Test Software implementation
  • B.Sc. or B. Engineering Degree plus relevant experience
  • Test protocol expertise
  • Experience of product development through to production including interfacing with manufacturing and process qualification
  • A good understanding of Analog and digital electronics
  • Proven experience in writing clear requirements
  • Experience in working in a compliant manner and delivering accurate documentation that demonstrates compliance
  • Experience of embedded device firmware development (Ideally with knowledge of C++)
  • Test development apps inc: Labview
  • Statistical Analysis tools like Minitab/excel
