Rights Respecting Schools Professional Advisors Can be based anywhere   £28,954 - £33,964 per annum

The Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRS) Programme is an innovative and creative programme that aims to embed the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in the ethos and practice of schools. The vision of the Programme is that all children in the UK learn in a rights respecting school community where the CRC is fully embedded in values and practice.

Supported by the Senior Professional Advisor, you will work in Scotland to promote the RRS Programme in schools and local authorities, and will support schools to achieve and maintain their RRS status. You will contribute to the promotion, development and growth of the Programme within Scotland and will work collegiately with the Senior Professional Advisor and across the RRS team in developing and implementing RRS.

A confident and driven individual, you will have proven experience of working strategically at a senior level with children and young people in an educational setting. You will also be an advocate for children’s rights, demonstrating a strong commitment to the CRC. Strong IT skills are essential, including the ability to work efficiently remotely and manage multiple demands and priorities.
