Business Development Manager Glasgow   £Basic salary up to£25-30K OTE £36K OTE +Car

Vision Care At Home is a dynamic company who is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to their team.  This is a new role, which presents a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to lead and develop the sales team as we continue our expansion across the UK.

Vision Care At Home is one of the leading domiciliary eye care provider’s in Scotland and we recently opened a branch in Manchester, as part of our expansion.

Reporting to the Directors of the company and based at the head office in Glasgow, you will be pivotal in developing new business to ensure future growth of the company.  In addition, you will be responsible for leading and managing a growing team of sales representatives.

You'll need proven sales experience, together with a good record of achieving targets. Management experience will also be essential to being successful in your application.  To be considered for the role, you should be able to demonstrate the following skills:

•     The ability to motivate and lead a team

•     Excellent communication and people skills

•     Good planning and organisational skills “with a can do attitude”

•     The ability to work calmly under pressure

•     A full driving license

Although based at head office, you will spend a majority of your time out on the road driving new business and building relationships with clients. You may also be required to work out of office hours to attend conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions.
