Commercial Financial Accountant Falkirk (Town)   £35000 - £39000 per annum + Pension

The Company

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are working with a well established Industry based organisation in Falkirk and are currently recruiting a Commercial Financial Accountant on their behalf. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a partly or recently qualified Accountant who wants to further their career in a large commerce and industry based organisation who will offer you exposure to various areas of their business. Applicants should ideally have their own transport.

The Role

As Financial Accountant, you will form part of the Group Accounting function and will report directly to the Financial Controller. Your role will be varied and challenging but will typically involve the production of annual accounts, analysing VAT returns and complex sales contracts, developing and consolidating internal financial controls, analysing balance sheet, cash flow and high value transactions and dealing regularly with Senior Managers in various departments to extract relevant Finance information. You will take part in Senior Management meetings and will deal regularly with external parties in addition to internal stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to join a multi million pond turnover operation and get valuable exposure to working in a sizeable Finance function. We anticipate that you will be at an advanced stage with CIMA or ACCA exams or will have qualified recently as an Accountant. Perhaps this is your first move from public practice and as long as you have the relevant technical experience and can communicate well, you could have a strong chance of landing an interview for this position. Salary & Benefits

As Financial Accountant in West Lothian, salary will be circa £35k - £39k depending on experience. A generous pension and benefits package is also available.
