New Graduate Opportunities 

The Biometrics team at Quotient is based at the Heriot Watt Research Park in Edinburgh and provides an expert service in the data management, analysis and reporting of early Phase clinical studies (both healthy volunteer and patient).  As part of our expansion we have the following graduate vacancy:

Clinical SAS Programmers

Vacancies in our statistical programming group will involve the use of the SAS system - a standard programming tool used by both pharmaceutical companies and contract research organisations globally.   The successful applicant will be responsible for the production of datasets for analysis and transfer purposes as well as report standard tables, listings and figures for clinical studies.    We are seeking new graduates (degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Life Science) with proven programming experience, whether in SAS or a related language.  Training and mentoring will be provided.

The above position will involve the following:

  • Very high concentration of work
  • Strict and tight deadlines
  • Having to juggle a range of tasks and issues simultaneously
  • Needing to respond to client demands

In addition to the above, ideal candidates will possess good organisational skills, good communication skills and will understand the importance of working to quality standards.
