Lead Gymnastics & Trampolining Coaches are required to deliver within a variety of programmes throughout Dundee. A minimum of a Gymnastics Level 2 or Trampolining Level 2 qualification UKKC (Lead) and Scottish Gymnastics membership is essential to deliver within the programme. As a Sports Coach you will assist in the teaching/coaching of a variety of client groups of varying ability. You will assist the delivery of a progressive and developmental programme, maintaining and updating participant records, checking all teaching equipment and ensuring that a safe and comfortable environment is provided at all times. You will have a general interest in Gymnastics or Trampolining and have experience of working with children from a variety of backgrounds. You must be able to work effectively with a variety of professional partners, parents and children and possess excellent communication skills. Excellent organisational, planning and leadership skills are required as is the ability to motive and enthuse others. Experience in paid/voluntary coaching and experience of planning structured activity sessions.

These posts have variable hours, including weekend working when required and may be in multiple locations in the city. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Leisure & Culture Dundee.
