Job Description

As part of the partnership team you will provide an effective high quality service to vulnerable young people aged 11 - 18 years living in Dundee. Working 18.5 hours you will have a professional qualification, Ba Com Ed, DIP SW, Teaching and/or equivalent and have experience of working with young people, individual and groups and multi-agency work. You will also have experience of working with excluded young people and working with challenging young people. You must be able to work as a team, have good verbal and written communication and have the ability to use initiative. The post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council. The post is Fixed Term to 31 March 2013.
