Hays Client is lookig for an individual to provide a comprehensive 1st and 2nd line technical telephone support service for all IT hardware, complex clinical and administrative software systems.
NHS background and/or knowledge of EMIS/Vision/Docman
Requires a knowledge level equating to that of an HND qualification in Computer & Network Support / IT related discipline
Extensive Network experience and knowledge of networking protocols and software.
Ability to diagnose / resolve networking, software and hardware problems.
Extensive knowledge of Windows 2000, XP, 7, Microsoft Office packages, UNIX.
Effective troubleshooting skills and a working knowledge of LAN infrastructure including hubs, routers and servers.
Ability to shoulder responsibility; work in a disciplined, conscientious and mature manner. Excellent communication / people skills.
Ability to embrace constant change.
Should posses or be studying towards MCP or MCSE professional qualification.
