Marketing & Promotions Co-ordinator Glasgow   £Neg DOE

G1 Group is looking for a Marketing & Promotions Coordinator to join our expanding team. This role will focus primarily on driving marketing activity across the estate, developing creative campaigns using all areas of the marketing mix, coordinating promotions and evaluating their success. The ideal candidate should be a recent graduate and have a degree in Marketing, Communications or similar, have a creative eye, and a willingness to get stuck in. You must be enthusiastic, creative, outgoing, and be familiar with G1 Group’s portfolio.

Responsibilities:

•           Creating and managing unit specific marketing plans

•           Managing forthcoming events calendar and provide information to media

•           Coordinating central department functions including online, graphics and social media 

•           Developing innovative sales ideas for various business sectors

•           Preparing internal and external communications

•           Providing cross-department support where required

Skills:

•          A thorough knowledge of modern communication methods

•          Creative, outgoing, enthusiastic team player

•          Exceptional traditional writing and grammatical skills and a flair for communicating on and offline 

•          Clear, engaging writing style with an attention to detail

•          Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly

•          Strong organisational skills and ability to work in fast paced environment

•          Degree, preferably in new media, marketing, public relations or digital communications

•          Passion for leisure, entertainment and arts industries
