Business Development Manager

On behalf of our client we are recruiting for a Senior level Business Development Manager.
An International business who have offices throughout the Uk and Usa and who provide engineering services to the Utility sector primarily within Electricity Distribution Networks.
Key responsibility will be to manage all business develop activities for the business.
Reporting to the Business Development Director your role will be to maintain and develop existing and customer framework agreements through appropriate propositions and sales methods. Develop new services/customers/products including Distribution and Transmission Network Operators amoungst others.
You will work closely with the Bid Manager and be involved with tenders, ensuring they are delivered on time and to exacting standards as well as assist the procurement team in the develpment of a supply chain to deliver bids and contracts.
You will be involved in all other areas of promotion and marketing, events, cross selling and agreed market develpment strategy.
The exceptional candidate we are looking for must have prior high levels of Sales background in a very competitive environment. A detailed understanding of TNO/DNO type client drivers and needs which includes the Regulatory Framework of which they operate under and technical knowledge. Commercial accument, confidence and educated to Degree level.
In return you will be rewarded with a salary reflective of the level of the role and candidate required of £60,000 per annum, car allowance, Health Insurance and bonus.
You will cover the whole of Scotland and there may be a requirement to cover North of England as well.
