The Client
This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a small, vibrant and innovative company specialising in the development of generator technology for application within various renewable energy sectors. They are currently developing a prototype with the aim of taking the technology into commercialisation.

The Role
The Electrical Design Engineer will be expected to play a key role in the engineering development of technology and help to ensure the technology is taken from advanced concept to a high performance market ready product. Lead and carry out the electromagnetic designs, analysis and requirements definition for a range of electrical machines, assist in developing power conversion systems, develop test plans for the electrical and electromagnetic testing.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will have an Electrical Engineering degree (including power engineering) with practical experience in electrical engineering and working with rotating machines. In general, it is expected that the Electrical Design Engineer will have an excellent understanding of advanced electrical machines, power electronics and Electrical Engineering.
