The successful candidate for the post of Customs Co-ordinator will have a sound secondary education and possess relevant experience in Customs practice and procedures.
The main duties will be to control and co-ordinate customs activities such as end use duty suspension, Inward Processing Relief, imports/exports, Intrastat, Letters of Credit, audits and processing supporting documentation.
Key deliverables will be reviewing and improving business processes, maintenance and development of customs control systems, accurate reporting systems and management of customs information.
You will demonstrate a high level of customer service with the ability to liaise with personnel at all levels. You will be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Good written and oral communication skills are essential.
You will have a methodical approach combined with accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail. You must be able to work autonomously or as part of a team. The ability to multi-task and use initiative to problem solve will be key in this role. This role may involve occasional travel to other group locations.
