Anderson Knight's client - a major global freight forwarding company seeks to recruit an Export Forwarder to join their Glasgow operation.

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with 6months + experience, perhaps in a smaller Freight Forwarding company who is looking for a step up the career ladder. My client is interested in applicants with experience in either import or export in air or sea freight.

Key duties and responsibilities for this role will include:

• Logging Bills of Lading
• Daily Shipment Reports
• Arranging Customs Clearances
• Issuing Letters of Credit
• Labelling Freight
• Technical Activities

You must be an enthusiastic team player, with excellent communication and organisation skills.

In return, the successful candidate will be rewarded with a starting salary of £18k plus benefits package, along with ongoing training and career development.
