Account Manager (Freight)
Salary: c£18,500 rising to £25400 once complete probation + Commission + Car + Pension + Usual Benefits
FPSG are recruiting for an exciting new opportunity for an a motivated and career driven telesales executive for an internal Account Manager role with the opportunity to lead to a Field Sales position after 3 to 6 months.
You will be responsible for generating new leads and accounts initially over the telephone and later on in the field. You will achieving targets through the effective management of new and existing customer accounts from sales through to delivery. Once the customer is on board you will process consignments, track and chase deliveries, perform all customer service tasks and develop the account on an ongoing basis.
Our client is a Market Leading Freight Organisation. They employ over 500 staff in locations throughout the UK. They have cemented their position in the market place by continued growth and are now looking to recruit a Freight Sales Account Manager to compliment their already thriving Sales Team.
We would particularly like to hear from you if you have:
* A background in Outbound Tele-Sales / Internal Sales / Lead Generation i.e. Experience of selling/negotiating via the telephone in a commercial B2B environment.
* High levels of self confidence, motivation and ambition
* A proven ability to SELL to people at all levels initially via the telephone and later on a face to face basis.
* The ability to thrive in a competitive commercial environment.
* A degree is desirable.
You will have a steady employment record, with no more than two jobs in the last two full years. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THIS CRITERIA WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Preference will be given to applicants with previous freight experience.
