Avenue is currently looking for an Accounts Administrator to join a leading Manufacturing Company in the Oil & Gas industry in the Dunfermline area.

Responsible to the Finance Manager you will assist in the smooth running of the accounts and Administration function for the company.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Data input to Sage 200 Accounts & Manufacturing
Maintenance of Purchase Ledger
Generation of Sales Invoices
Generate supplier payments
Receiving goods into Sage 200 Accounts and Manufacturing
Petty Cash Maintenance
Cost input for works orders
Input of Banking Transactions
Maintenance of direct debits and standing orders
Administration of workshop staff hours and overtime
Office management duties in the absence of Office Manager

You will be expected to be a flexible team player who will take ownership of other duties including but not limited to:
Filing
Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail
Ensuring stationery stocks are maintained
Document Scanning
Deal with customer and supplier queries

Person Specification

Experience
Significant accounting experience preferably within a manufacturing/engineering environment.

Skills Requirements
IT skills. Word, Excel, Outlook and SAGE.
Good communication skills written and oral.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and work as effectively as team member.
Flexibility is essential along with adaptability in relation to work load and key tasks.
Good attention to detail.
