Castlebeck needs good people, with or without experience, to join our teams of professionals, making a real difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities.

In the role of support worker you will encourage and assist the service users in the development of new skills. This may include devising and implementing programmes to encourage more self help or help them develop new ways of coping with life events. These may include general and social skills, accessing community leisure and educational facilities, and support to obtain employment.

Previous experience is not a requirement as training to SVQ Level III will be given. For those who wish to progress further there is every opportunity to do so.

However, if you are someone with experience / relevant qualifications, the remuneration package will reflect this.

Trinity House

Trinity House is a residential home that provides care and support to 13 people with learning disabilities. The people who live there are supported by specially trained learning disability nurses and mental health nurses as well as support workers. They can also receive help from other professional people if they need it at Trinity House – that might be a speech and language therapist, an occupational therapist, psychologist or a psychiatrist.

We currently have opportunities for Full time (40 hrs per week) and Part-time (20 hrs per week). Please state on your application which vacancy you would like to apply for.
