Maintenance Engineer Falkirk (Town)   £24000 - £25000 per annum

Large well established market leader in the UK are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with Electrical bias for their Falkirk sight. This role is temporary initially for 12 weeks with a view to permanent after this period for the right candidate.

Duties include:

Organise and direct the activities of you team to ensure company goals and customer needs are met in terms of output, quality, safety, cost and service.
Respond promptly to incidents ensuring all health and safety measures are being adhered to.
To develop effective planned preventive maintenance routines in conjunction with the Supervisor.
Prioritise workload with aid of your supervisor and maintain adequate records of work completed.

Key skills and knowledge required:

Minimum of city and guilds in an electrical/mechanical or similar recognised qualification, plus 16th/17th edition city and guilds. Ideally candidates will have experience in breakdown, planned preventative maintenance, and reactive maintenance within a medium to high volume manufacturing background.
Candidates should also be able to to show experience in fabrication techniques and have the ability to carry out basic welding activities and provide expertise in the installation of bespoke equipment

Candidates must be flexible to work shift as the plant is open 16 hours per day, all year round, working to tight deadlines and attending emergency breakdowns is often required.
