A vacancy has arisen within the Maintenance department at Stoneywood, Dyce for a Maintenance Fitter. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of Company machine tool, plant, equipment and services.
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
Candidates should have served a recognised apprenticeship and have a good awareness of safe working practices.
Essentially the successful candidate will have hydraulic, pneumatic and bench fitting work experience. Candidates must have previous experience working within a manufacturing environment with machine tool and general plant maintenance and repair.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a methodical work attitude, have a proven ability to establish and maintain work projects in a timely manner, and be able to work with the minimum supervision. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also essential.
DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
Previous experience of driving forklifts would be desirable.
A full UK driving licence is also desirable.
