We are recruiting for a QHSE Manager/Advisor for our client based in Aberdeen.

MAIN DUTIES
*To project manage relevant QHSE projects including client liaison
*To conduct QHSE technical audits on client premises on and offshore
*Produce procedures and other technical documentation to a high standard
*To provide internal and external advice on all QHSE matters, including legislation and best practice
*Provide support in developing, reviewing and monitoring of the HSEQ Plan and objectives and targets
*Provide positive leadership and promote the adoption of best practice
*Identify areas of risk and develop measures to reduce and control
*Promptly alert line management to significant accidents and incidents
*Deliver and ensure system and procedural compliance
*Assist in QHSE stats for monthly, quarterly and annual reports
*Produce QHSE performance reports as required
*Facilitate occupational health monitoring
*Develop safety related technical training courses and related materials to a high standard, meeting relevant legislative requirements and best industry practice
*Research safety related topic to ensure accuracy of training courses
*Deliver safety related classroom based training courses on client sites including offshore and overseas
*Deliver training courses using client material or courses developed by a third party
*Assist in the production of technical documentation
*Support Consultants with project work when required
*Train Client's delegates as trainers (train the trainer)
*Assist in development of new client e-learning courses
*Liaise with multimedia programmers on new and existing courses to ensure continuous development and improvement of courses

Knowledge/Skills
Comprehensive knowledge of:
*Experience of developing safety related training courses
*Experience of delivering safety related training courses
*Experience of working in the offshore oil and gas industry
*Excellent one to one and one to group communication skills
*Comprehensive knowledge and command of Risk Assessment, Permit to Work and Isolation Systems
*Understand UK HSE Legislation and ISO 9001 Quality Management
*Understand UK HSE Legislation and ISO 14001 Environmental Management
*Understand UK HSE Legislation and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management
*Comprehensive knowledge and command of the English Language
*Excellent IT skills in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel (must be able to write reports and work with pre-created templates)
*Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety within Offshore Industry
*Excellent telephone manner and verbal communication skills

Qualifications - Academic
*HND or degree in relevant subject
*Nebosh Certificate
*Nebosh Diploma

Training Courses
*Offshore Survival Certificate

*Self motivated and able to motivate others
*Thorough and methodical
*Responsible and conscientious attitude
*Time management skills and working to strict deadlines
