They are currently looking for a contract Piping Draughtsman to be based on their site in Grangemouth. Contract to be 9 month duration.

Roles and Resposiblities will include:

  • Producing Piping isometric diagrams for construction using AutoCAD 2D;
  • Undertaking verification design drawings provided by others;
  • Producing site sketches of existing pipe systems and specify associated valves, hangers and fittings;
  • Producing bill of materials and MTO's for piped systems to be constructed.

    • The successful candidate will be:

  • HNC (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering with piping design content;
  • Experienced in piping design ideally within the petrochemical or similar manufacturing sectors;
  • Knowledge and understanding of key principles associated with design codes including ASME B3.1., B31.3, BS806, BS EN 13480 and related standards as well as ability to understand customer specifications;
  • Knowledge of H&S legislation related to products and services;
  • Full working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D design package;
  • Effective application of product codes and standards;
  • Driving licence essential.
