Maths Teacher Required for... a mixed, medium sized Catholic school located in a large town in Essex, only 25 minutes from Central London by train. This is a smaller than average school with 700 pupils aged 11-16 years old.

Maths Teacher Required for... a 11-19 mixed school located in Folkestone, Kent, approximately 90 minutes from central London by train and two hours from Gatwick airport.  It has outstanding leadership and a very strong staff cohesiveness.  Departments within the school are stable and support is offered to new teachers to help them settle in.  They also offer CPD training every Wednesday for teachers to hone their skills.  Staff are 'proud to work at the school' and morale is high as reported by Ofsted.  There are vocational courses on offer to enhance learning and built confidence in those struggling in mainstream lessons.  Student behaviour is orderly. 

Maths Teacher Required for...  a larger than average sized school based in Surrey with 1500 students on roll.  It is located 1 hour from central London by train and 90 minutes each from Gatwick and Heathrow airports.  The school is a designated training school for newly qualified teachers and holds a number of awards.  The school has a 'Good' Ofsted report with its capacity for sustained improvement getting the highest accolade of 'Outstanding'.  The students achievements and the extent to which they feel safe and enjoy their learning is classed as 'Outstanding'.  There is good community cohesion and the overall educational provision for these young people is fantastic. 

Maths Teacher Required for... a fantastic school in Kent.  This is a large mixed school with 1600 students in the north of Kent, South East England and is 45 minutes by direct train from central London.  The behaviour of the students is "good" around the school, as mentioned by Ofsted.  The majority of students are White British and the proportion of students eligible for free school meals is below the national average.  The school is led by a strong and determined leadership team.  Students feel safe and supported by it.  If you are newly qualified, the school will put a training program in place to equip you with the tools to succeed in your career. 

Maths Teacher Required for... a new Academy in Bristol, which opened in September 2008 and has specialist status in Mathematics and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The academy roll is rising, with higher numbers of students in Years 7 and 8 than in other years.  The success of the senior leadership team has been described as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.  There is a sense of shared purpose and direction throughout the whole academy and the atmosphere is very cooperative with a high staff morale. Expectations of students and staff are both very clear and everyone knows what is expected of them.

Maths Teacher Required for... a good, mixed secondary school in Essex.  Pupils are aged 11-18. This is a full time permanent post.  First interviews will be by telephone with the successful candidates then being invited over to see the school. Location-wise, the school is on the Essex coastline, 40mins from London and just under an hour by direct bus to Stansted airport.

The school is located in a very affluent area.  Exam results of 5 A*-C GCSE, including Maths and English, stand at 84% compared with the national average of 53%
