Search's client are currently recruiting a Manufacturing Operations Manager to assume full responsibility for the manufacturing and process engineering group.
The main duties of this role are as follows:
*Resource management/ manufacturing planning activities.
*Oversee allocation of Process Engineers.
*Manage site wide maintenance of equipment.
*Manage all manufacturing operations personnel.
*Identify process, quality and general business risks.
The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing and quality systems in addition to the following attributes:
*Expert knowledge of Six Sigma/ process excellence tools.
*Degree qualified in a relevant discipline with experience at a Senior Process Engineer/ Operations Manager level.
*Strong background in heavily regulated environments i.e. automotive, medical device, pharmaceuticals.
