Economic/Market Analyst Edinburgh   £25-35K Basic salary D.O.E

Hudson would like to speak to Market and Economic Analysts for an excellent fixed term contract position based in Edinburgh.

Hudson’s client, a global manufacturer based outside of Edinburgh, requires a Market/Economic Analyst on a 6-month fixed term contract basis. This role has the potential to go permanent dependent on individual performance. Hudson’s client offer excellent career progression opportunities globally and a fast-paced, dynamic working environment. In this role, the individual will get involved providing market analysis to the business i.e. Corporate Performance Analysis, and Customer/Product trends through data and economic analysis.

Hudson would like to speak to individuals with the skillset described below:

-          Experienced in providing quality economic and market analysis within a commercial environment such as analysing corporate performance, customer/product trends and wider market/economic analysis

-          Experienced in using Data and Statistical analysis techniques to provide market insight to the business such as predicting future product demand and product price trend analysis (i.e. using Excel, SPSS, or Economic Forecasting Model techniques)

-          Desired: Advanced Excel skills including experience manipulating large data sets and using pivot tables. Ideally, experience is using other statistical techniques such as SPSS desired

-          Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and report market insights to Senior Management within the business

The client would be happy to consider Marketing/Economic or Finance Graduates who can display some relevant experience for this role.
