Import Clerk Renfrew   £18k - £20k plus Benefits

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Air/SeaImport Agent to join our Client's busy Freight Forwarding office close to Glasgow Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large, successful freight forwarding company with career development and progression options.

Duties

• All aspects of Ocean Freight Import process and associated administration for customers
• Liaising with shipping lines
• Input of data onto IT systems
• To maintain systems and processes and to provide a high level of customer service

Key Activities

• Liaise with clients on a daily basis by telephone bookings
• Communication with other UK Departments and Overseas offices
• Processing shipment through In house system
• Completion of all aspects of LCL and FCL shipment from collection to delivery
• Understanding and complying with specific Country regulations
• General office Administration
• IT Generalist knowledge - MS Office programmes: Outlook, Word and Excel

Experience

Candidates must be currently working in a similar role and possess the following:

• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Excellent Customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure and be flexible
• Attention to detail is paramount
