RESIDENTIAL CHILDCARE SERVICE MANAGER Prestwick

A charitable organisation is looking for a Residential Manager to manage their residential childcare service.

Applicants should be educated to SQA standard, SVQ Level 4 and HNC with an evidence of undertaking a supervisory role in relation to staff within a residential environment. A working knowledge of legislation with regards to childcare including National Care Standards, Children (Scotland) Act 1995 and the GIRFEC framework.

Applicants must also have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team and have a wide knowledge of the behaviours displayed by children and young people. Experience in undertaking the supervision of staff with good leadership and motivational skills.

Registration with the SSSC for Residential Childcare Workers is required

PVG Scheme Membership required.

Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle for work is also required.
