My client is part of a global organisation that develop a range of subsea services to the Oil and Gas industry.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for Head of Operations, based at the site in Aberdeenshire. This site is a recognised "Centre of Excellence" in the design and manufacture of equipment for the Oil and Gas industry.

This role will be responsible for the overall operations of the site, providing leadership and responsibility for the integration of project management, manufacturing, safety, delivery and quality.

Key contribution areas include:

*Ensuring the highest standard for all Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality is maintained. Developing and promoting best practice policies and acting as a "Role Model".
*Leadership of the Onshore and Offshore Operations teams - ensuring communication and working practices are consistent and to best practice.
*Delivering optimum commercial results for the business, both by appropriate budgetary control and ensuring operational excellence in delivery to the customer.
*Promoting and controlling Global Strategic and Tactical Plans.
*Identifying and securing the right resources for the Operations team, both Onshore and Offshore and training/evaluating staff to work more cohesively as a team and communicate more effectively across the business.
*Overseeing the creation of a systematic, disciplined approach to contract reviews, bids and proposals.
*Instilling a positive "can-do" attitude into every section of the business, while creating a strong, positive atmosphere of teamwork and empowerment throughout the business

You will have already carved a successful career and be operating at General/Operations Manager level with experience in the manufacture of engineered-to-order equipment, ideally within the Oil and Gas industry.

With sound project management skill coupled with a commitment to achieving excellence within every business area, you will be ready for a new challenge to apply your honed people management and business operational experience.
