CAD Design - Project Engineer
Dundee
£30000 per annum + Pension, Sick Pay, 33 PAL

This is a dynamic and diverse role requiring an innovative engineer utilising modern engineering design techniques. To meet our requirements the following qualifications, skills & experience will be required:-
Qualifications: A relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, however HND in a related subject (mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering) and extensive relevant experience may be considered.
Skills & Experience: - Extensive experience with 3D packages (must include Pro - Engineer / Auto CAD). Good materials knowledge, understanding of working with sheet metal, machined parts, and castings. Excellent all round PC skills. Experience in similar role, preferably with a background in assembly of mechanical / electrical / hydraulic components.
Personal attributes: - be self motivated - able to work with minimum supervision - possess excellent verbal and written communication skills (as close working with our French engineering team is involved - have the ability to be a project leader who can control many different tasks in a cross-functional team - be an assertive character to assist in supporting and implementing change - work with & motivate others in multi-departmental support - be a team player adapting to supporting many teams - flexible approach (work & hours of work)
