Manufacturing Engineer Cumbernauld   £30K

Fantastic opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a progressive company based in the outskirts Glasgow.

Key responsibilities include;

• To provide process engineering knowledge, experience and technical support to all Manufacturing Operations, whilst proposing and contributing to continuous improvement work in the areas of process engineering.
• Assembly Area /Finishing Hall/ Paint shop Improvements
• Single & Double Deck as per departmental plan
• Tooling
• Documentation
• Method
• Lost time analysis (need to create and develop)
• Visual management
• Cost and Time savings due to process improvements
• Pro-actively be involved in developing new supply techniques with both new and current suppliers
• Manage appropriate Capex spend during a project
• Liaise with engineering design teams
• Introduce Best Practice techniques

To be successful for this role the ideal candidate will have the following skills;

• Demonstrate effective use of and adherence to legislative Process Safety systems and procedures
• Proven knowledge and understanding of process design, calculations, specification and commissioning procedures
• Project management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
