Eden Scott's client is looking to hire a Workshop Fitter to be responsible for the refurbishment, assembly and testing of wellhead equipment to specified requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

*Undertake the disassembly/cleaning/assembly/refurbishment and test of wellhead product to organisational procedures and/or customer requirements.
*Ensure Health and Safety, good working practices and house keeping in all activities are adhered to on the shop floor at all times.
*Retrieve product information (drawings and DBI's) from Company Intranet.
*Completion of all relevant Test and Assembly Checklist and other quality control documentation.
*Promote and maintain a positive working attitude
*Carry out various other tasks at supervisor's discretion.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

*Mechanical Apprenticeship minimum requirement (or equivalent experience), with experience in a shop floor environment.
*HNC (or equivalent) in a Mechanical Engineering subject is preferred.
*Good communication skills
*PC literacy plus a positive and professional customer focused attitude to work.
*Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/schematics.
