Application Developer Edinburgh   £27000 - £28000 per annum + excellent package

Eden Scott's Professional Services client has a requirement for an Application Developer on a permanent basis. Our client, located in central Edinburgh, provides IT support to all staff across all of Scotland and undertakes a number of projects to ensure technology meets business needs and demonstrates efficiency and effectiveness.

As the Application Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the delivery of high quality applications and reports based on in-house systems, you will also provide some application developer support to third party systems.

To successfully under take this role you will:

* Hold a qualification minimum of HND level in a relevant technical area or be an MS Certified IT professional
* Have some technical knowledge of developing and maintaining MS SQL Server and MS Reporting Services
* Have prior experience of developing using Microsoft Visual Studio

In addition to the technical requirements of this role, you will have experience in a customer focused environment along with excellent communication, team working and interpersonal skills.

In addition to the remuineration offered for this role our client will also offer full Sharepoint training.
