Avenue Recruitment Senior Project Engineer Aberdeen   £60 - £63 per hour

My client, a well-known operator in the North Sea, require an experienced Project Engineer to take up a contract role within their busy Aberdeen office. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable experience as a Senior Project Engineer/Manager.

The ideal candidate should have had hands on experience of delivering Projects or significant modifications in the brownfield offshore environment. The candidate should also have experience in drilling operations, upside and topside.

The candidate should possess the ability to ensure that corporate and local Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and regulations are applied on project activities as well as technical professional with experience in the oil and gas industry.

Knowledgeable of all phases of major oil and gas projects e.g. FEED, EPC, Commissioning, Start-up etc. and experience of the project sanction process.

Must have hands on experience of delivering Projects or significant modifications in the brownfield offshore environment. Preferably in a harsh environment such as the North Sea.

Demonstrable experience at senior project engineering or even as a project manager.

Educated to degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
