A Glasgow based publicly funded company is seeking an Inspector to work on an initial 6 month contract on Water Course inspections.

The role will involve assessment of watercourses in terms of their condition, reporting defects and recording and photographing any defects and new and existing found assets; Collection of data and recording on database carrying out inspection and arranging clearance of defects (General maintenance). The role will also involve working as part of the Flood Risk Management team and potentially assisting with bridges/infrastructure inspection

Candidates will be qualified to at least HNC Level in Civil Engineer and must have previous Water course/Flood risk experience. They will be familiar with, report writing and collating of information in relation to water courses and due to the nature of the role will hold a full driving license

On offer is a minimum 6 month contract which has a strong potential of extension, coupled with a highly competitive hourly rate.
